Last Weekend.

As it turns out, I synced my phone and found more photos.
I know you are excited.
That little coffee press?
Oh, it's just my new favorite way to make coffee.
I always thought it was so complicated. Nope.
Easy with a side of peasy.
{thank you Mom for picking it up for me!}

Are you tired of seeing my eldest son bedecked in garnet + gold?
Because I am.  He has already e-mailed {what kind of world are we living in?}
me his Christmas list and there isn't one item on there that isn't garnet + gold.
I simply forwarded said list to the grandmas.

The trees here are quickly becoming bare.  This photo is kind of a fail, but I did take it going 60 mph down the highway.
Not to worry, I was in the passenger seat.
We dined here for Sunday brunch.
I have eaten here once before and was introduced to it by her and her.
{thank you Erin + Jessica!}
This place really had me with the blue chippy sign.
Then the deal was sealed with these warm butterscotch scones.  Yes, indeed.

oh, and trees and twinkly lights and origami.

Yeah, I think I love this place.

I tried the French press here on the island and I think I was doing it wrong. I kept ending up with grounds in my cup. It's very Euro.

I love that sign. Think they would notice if it was gone?

Tell me about the French press? Does the coffee taste better/different? That sign at the restaurant is so cute, and I would love a few of those scones. yum.

My husband loves the French Press--here is a secret, I LOVE coffee, I drink coffee, but I have NO IDEA how to make coffee. My husband has been all about coffee making since we were dating. he lived next to a cafe and used to buy the beans and grind them and add a little chicory, or a dash of cinnamon (yes, even back when we were dating!) and I just never perfected coffee making because he was so good at it!

I love the chippy sign and butterscotch scones have me thinking of what I will make for Christmas Day brunch! I LOVE those origami birds, too!

If I come will you take me to the bistro? A French press is so hip. I am not sure I could swing it. I am a Keurig girl.
