Pardon the Interruption

I know I am on a blog break,
but this has to be said.
The Predicament just came up to me and said,
"I am thinking about surprising the boys and downloading the movie Jacka$$."

{cue vinyl record scratch}

Wha??????

And here I had visions of sugarplums dancing in my head.
I was picturing us all sipping hot cocoa, eating freshly baked cookies and gathered around A Charlie Brown Christmas.

Do you see what I am dealing with here?
Oy.
Do freshly baked snickerdoodles even go with Jacka$$?
Me thinks not.

We need to build a compound and join our families.

Hahahahahaha! You gotta love the Predicament...seriously my husband's idea of a Christmas movie is Die Hard. So I feel your pain. I'm with Susan we will help you bake cookies and watch Charlie Brown with you. It will be a girl's only party. :-)

Oh friend, I love you. This makes me laugh. Kevin is VERY similar to the Predicament, and us mamas want to protect our babies & keep them innocent forever. I laughed out loud at the vinyl record scratch. I can hear it, for sure. :))

Oh my...yet again..your life=my life. Do you feel you are living in a house of aliens? I wish we were closer and we would hunker down in my tv room sipping lattes and watching, Charlie Brown Christmas, The Family Stone, Love Actually and The Holiday....and we would send all the men to an entirely different house....{sigh}

Hide the shopping carts and explosives and have a "safe" Christmas....

Ha! Boys. I'd hold out with those cookies 'til Charlie Brown is turned on. They'll come around. ;)

ok, i'm actually laughing out loud at this interaction between you and your husband - not only is it hilarious, but I'm so comforted b/c it's literally IDENTICAL to something my own hubby would do ... dying to know how your story ends ;-)

While not ideal....at least you are doing something together...right? I am not sure I would like that movie either, though.

great photo of Snickerdoodles!

I am with you. I've never seen Jackass, though I do have an even greater distaste for porta-potties since hearing about some of the shenanigans that go on in that movie.

I do love Charlie Brown Christmas though!
