Lately...via Instagram

Oh boy, I love Instagram!  These are some shots that have been sitting on my computer.  I've got a ton more instagram shots still sitting on my phone.  On this day as I was exiting my bathroom and saw my reflection.  I thought it looked interesting with the frame of the mirror.

And I kinda felt like I was having a good hair day.  Since most days my hair is in a sweaty, tiny ponytail I thought I might as well capture it.

For Christmas I made both of my boys photo books of them together, in brotherly love photos so they could realize they do love each other.  One has yet to take his out of the cellophane and the other left it on the counter, probably without cracking the cover.
They'll appreciate this in the future, right?

Do I really need to caption this photo?
I think not.  Other than YUM.

Despite life being really busy right now with two teen boys involved in polar opposite activities and different high schools, I still managed to get completely caught up with Downton Abbey.

And take pictures of my all time favorite scarf.  Ever.

I finally used a pinterest idea!  I made a whole package of farro and divided it into individual mason jars. I am the only one eating it.  My husband calls it squirrel food every time he opens the fridge.  It kinda made it less appetizing once he called it that.  Farro may be a "one and done" for me.

Lucky duck.

I always love the idea of my husband working from home.  But he really works.  I always imagine us sipping coffee and exchanging pleasantries and going out for a nice long lunch.
The reality is he really works all day long.  Oh well.  I still prefer him home as opposed to going to the office.

Pretty.

Pretty again.

So, that's it.  What's up with you?

Beautiful flowers. Love your hair. I am thinking I would like a cupcake today. I also LOVE Instagram, just wish I had it. Yes, your boys will appreciate those photos in the future, and I love that one of them in the hammock. Adorable. I don't know what farro is, but I think it looks good. Kevin works from home some, and from the office some. At this point in our lives, with Boyd running around, I prefer him at the office. :) I am looking forward to the day that I prefer him at home, like you do!

The first thing I thought on your first picture was, "GREAT HAIR!"

What a great glimpse into your life. I thought the farro was a yummy dessert with pecans...I'm sure it tasted much better in a Mason jar. I've got to start watching that show and your hair is too cute!
p.s. Yes, they will appreciate those books one day, at least their wives will!

Hmmm...farro, never tried it..in fact I don't even know what it is, must do a little research.

My husband does work at home..and you're right, it's not entirely how I pictured it in my mind.

I watched my first episode of Downton Abbey last night...I had to start at Season 2...I'm a little confused but it looks promising.
Love all your pics!

I need to get some fresh flowers. Last time I was at the store they had nothing but orchids. I think I will get one. They say 3 ice cubes int the pot a week is all they need. Hmm.
Small hick town life doesn't lead me to know what farro is. I was watching some old TV shows and I think you look like a young, beautiful Joanna Kearns. Anyway she made me think of you :)

I love your hair. I pretty much always have a bob...then try letting it grow and go back to a bob. But I like your hair style.

I never tried farro.

Okay, speak to me about having two kids in two different high schools. That's about to me my reality and I'm feeling like my life is going to be INSANE for the next three years! Am I right?

I am soooo hooked on Downton Abbey! LOVE it so much.

Lovely photos and yes, you were most definitely having a good hair day.

Also, I wanted you to know that you are the cause of my most recent addiction... Downtown Abbey.

I love the scarf. My daughter and I are also addicted (I have an addictive personality apparently.) to making cowl scarves. It's great fun!

I am addicted to Instagram now too! I think it makes me feel more like someone who actually knows how to use a camera properly, and not just someone who uses her iPhone incessantly to take photos of random things pretending she is 'artsy'. I love your scarf!
I got Mum and Dad to like farro (we call it spelt here I think they are the same). After I cooked it (in vegetable stock) I added finely chopped red onion, capsicum, and cherry tomatoes, and then drizzled it with garlic oil. Delicioous! Mum likes hers with seafood and I love mine with chickpeas (big surprise there!). Can't wait to see a ton more of your photos!

The flowers are so fun and hinting of spring. I love Instagram too. I have to use my son's itouch or my husbands iphone though, so I dont get to use it as much as i would like. I love the idea of your brotherly love book. That is so sweet.

Never heard of farro. Squirrels might not even eat it! :0)
How sad the photo books aren't yet cherished. Hang onto them...one day they'll be glad they had them, even if it's because their wives will want it! :0)
I need to play around with Instagram more, but now that Hipstematic is all the rage, I may have to convert. Something else to become obsessed over is right! (like Sloan said)
Can't wait to start Downtown Abbey...getting season 1 on Netflix!

Adorable picture of you....love your hair!!!

Just wanted to let you know that my MIL made my hubby a photo book one year and it is one of my favorite things to look through. My kids like it, too. It will be an appreciated gift...trust me:)

I keep meaning to email you and ask if you have the Clean Food cook book?
I think you might like it.

I have painters at my house....it was time.
